Gloss & Granite in Grove – Oxfordshire

Make a family room. This was fundamental objective behind this brief.

The kitchen had a wall between separating it from the dining room. We re-designed the whole area which meant removing the wall and also blocking up a doorway to allow more usable space in the kitchen. This also ensured better space utilisation in the hallway too.

With this kitchen we felt a better use of space would be to have a “U” shaped return with seating on the back rather than an Island. This created far more worktop space along with a better usability flow.

We helped our client with all the colours and materials to ensure a truly fabulous looking kitchen.

This project involved a good deal of structural construction work including; removing everything from the kitchen, removing a dividing wall, plastering the ceilings and walls and blocking up a door. Originally the client had a very small window above the sink. We suggested a much larger window to add light. We also removed an unnecessary side door from the kitchen as the utility also had a door. We fitted the new kitchen along with a new utility area. We also tiled the whole floor area and decorated the whole space. We also fitted a new central heating system for the client. Not only that but all of this work was completed in just 4 weeks!
